On October 21st residents and guests of Frankfurt (Oder) will plunge into a fabulous atmosphere of animated films by the outstanding Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki at the Simple Music Ensemble World concert "Miyazaki Dreams".

Hayao Miyazaki is a Japanese animation director, winner of several Academy Awards. He has greatly influenced the world of animated films by delving into such topics as sincere feelings, humanism, family, pacifism and love for flying machines.⠀

Joe Hisaishi is a Japanese composer and pianist, widely known for his collaboration with director Hayao Miyazaki. Together they have created a huge number of classic animated films that have become famous all over the world. Although Miyazaki and Hisaishi work in different fields, their works complement each other.

On October 21st residents and guests of Frankfurt (Oder) will embark on an amazing journey together with their favorite anime heroes. Artists of the chamber music studio will present works from such animated films by Hayao Miyazaki, as "Howl's Moving Castle", "Spirited Away", "My Neighbor Totoro", "Castle in the Sky" and others* at the Konzerthalle "Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach", Großer Saal. Fabulous music in the author's arrangements of the Simple Music Ensemble World will take listeners to a completely new level of perception, giving vivid impressions and leaving wonderful memories of the concert.
