Simple Music Ensemble (World) is a chamber music studio that raises concerts on the world's best stages and unites professional musicians from different countries who sincerely love their work.
The team is multifaceted and is continuously developing, introducing new ideas, expanding the boundaries of their creative activity. The repertoire includes early music in authentic performance, classics, modern instrumental directions, film scores in their own original arrangements. And this is only a small part of what is in the process of the ensemble's work.
"Simplicity as a lifestyle constant" is what underlies the work of the collective and is contained in the very name of the chamber music studio Simple Music Ensemble. SME concerts are filled with the unique emotional energy of musicians and surprise with their ability to say so much important with just the help of music.
The author of the project, Grigory Volkov, studied at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservaroty, the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar, the Bern University of Applied Sciences in French horn and historically-informed performance classes and worked in many Russian and foreign ensembles, including the Zurich Chamber Orchestra.
